| The Linux/Microcontroller Project
The Linux/Microcontroller project is a port of the Linux 2.0 to systems without a Memory Management Unit. At present, only Motorola MC68000 derivatives are supported. The first target system to sucessfully boot is the 3Com PalmPilot with a TRG SuperPilot Board and a custom boot loader they put together specifically for the Linux/PalmPilot port.

| LinuxCE.org
. . . dedicated to help port Linux to many different handheld computers originally designed to run Windows CE. All of the PDAs manufactured to run Windows CE have fairly advanced hardware capabilities, including a fast processor and an MMU, which makes them very suitable for a Linux port. We will help by keeping the Linux community updated on the topic, organize various efforts related to porting Linux to those platforms, interface with hardware manufacturers who wish to help, and more.
