palm Clie TG50 and Nokia 6310i failing to dial gprs connection. Help please! en>fr fr>en

Has anyone got any idea how to get a TG50 to persuade a Nokia 6310i to make a GPRS internet connection over Vodafone. The TG50 connevts to the phone message comes up on the screen "Dialing Vodafone GPRS Nokia" and then sits there till it times out.
Seems that the phone never actually does the dialling thing - there mst be something missing in the scripts somehere. Heeee lp!
Oh yeah, I'm using Bluetooth connection which seems solid but....
